Exploratory Drilling Work

Exploratory Drilling Work

A crew will be working along the proposed water pipeline route that runs east from the Waluga Park area to 5th Street beginning in early August. They will be digging small holes in the rights of way to locate all utilities in the area, so the Partnership can ensure the pipeline route has no conflicts with existing utilities.

Workers will use a pickup truck and vactor truck (large vacuum) as they travel along the pipeline route. Work is expected to continue through early September.

All work will occur during daytime hours. There will be single-lane closures on narrow streets to accommodate equipment, but no total street closures are anticipated. Roads will be repaired after work is complete. Please watch for flaggers.

Lake Oswego Residents Help Beat the Peak

Lake Oswego Residents Help Beat the Peak

Residents in Lake Oswego used just over 12 million gallons of water on Sunday, four times higher than the average winter day use. Water use on Saturday reached 11.7 million gallons. That’s close to, but not above, the water use target of 12 million gallons per day (mgd) established for the City of Lake Oswego’s Beat the Peak summer water conservation campaign.
