Microtunnel machine to begin boring under River Road and McLoughlin Boulevard

Gladstone Pipeline and River Intake Construction Update

This update includes construction work in the following areas. Read more for specific information on each location:

  • River Intake Pump Station (RIPS) - testing continues, commisioning to begin!

Waluga Reservoir coming together inside and out

Waluga Reservoir 2 (WR2) Construction Update

Mixing manifold

Crews have removed the scaffolding and shoring inside the WR2 that were needed to support the roof and have hauled the materials off site. Over the next few weeks, they will install the reservoir’s mixing manifold and pipe supports.

WR2 wrapping and roof

The cable wrapping of WR2 is complete and the last of the shotcrete has been applied. Crews are now working on the roof to install the remaining roof hatches as well as the lightning proctection.

More than a mile of pipe installed on Highway 43

West Linn Pipeline Construction Update

Two crews continue to lay pipe on Highway 43 in West Linn and Lake Oswego, and more than a mile of pipe has been installed!

This week, crews placed some temporary striping in areas on Highway 43 to improve lane delineation. Steel plates and temporary pavement patches are present in the roadway, which can leave the road rough and uneven - driving at slower speeds is recommended. These delays are temporary and we appreciate your patience during this time.
