Another water program milestone reached!

A significant milestone was reached over the last week, with the new “raw” (untreated) water pipe being placed into service! Almost 2 ½ miles of pipe connects the new river intake pump station on the Clackamas River in Gladstone with the treatment plant in West Linn, traveling under the Willamette River.

Overall, crews are making solid progress on phase B construction activities, including the new administration building, new filters and new washwater recovery basin. Work is on track to begin startup and testing for this phase of work early next year, with the new filters and basin being operational by late spring.

Information about onsite work is outlined below. Please note, schedules are subject to change.
