More than 100 elected officials, City staff and project contractors from Lake Oswego and Tigard gathered last week to celebrate the rebuilding of a water treatment plant in West Linn that marks the official completion of the Lake Oswego-Tigard Water Partnership.

Partnership Celebrates Water Project Completion

On Thursday, October 12, the Lake Oswego Tigard Water Partnership commemorated completion of the $254 million Lake Oswego Tigard Water Partnership Project, a new seismically resilient water system for both communities and the largest public works project both cities have ever undertaken.

More than 100 former and current program staff, elected officials, contractors, consultants, regional water providers and city staff, gathered to commemorate the achievement of building a new, reliable water system and securing water for Lake Oswego and Tigard’s future.
