A Legacy for Generations – Safe, Clean, Reliable Drinking Water

The Lake Oswego Tigard Water Partnership Project is officially complete and under budget. Almost a decade in the making, this historic project has been no small feat. The project took more than five years of planning, permitting and designing, followed by four years of construction across four different communities, along major highways, in residential streets, through business districts, and under waterways.

The final cost for the project is $249 million, $5 million below the previous estimate of $254 million. Because of this lasting investment in public health, Lake Oswego and Tigard have the most reliable and resilient water system in Oregon, and a state-of-the-art treatment process that produces high-quality and better tasting drinking water year-round.
