East Waluga Park - parking lot will reopen next week

The East Waluga Park parking lot will reopen early next week! On Monday, March 3, crews will install conduit at the entrance to the parking lot and then relocate any remaining equipment to the staging area on Iron Mountain Boulevard near the Hunt Club. The parking lot has been restored with temporary gravel and will be repaved with a smoother surface once the weather improves, later in the spring.

Lanewood Street - pipeline construction now underway

Today, crews started installing pipe in Lanewood Street near the intersection of Boones Ferry Road. Over the next month, work will progress eastward along Lanewood Street. Temporary road detours are in place during construction hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Access will be allowed for local residents and businesses within the closed area, and emergency vehicles. For more information about construction and traffic detours in the Lake Grove neighborhood, visit our construction mailer or work underway page.

Douglas Circle - pipeline construction

Crews will install pipeline along the southerly leg of Douglas Circle, then onto a portion of Upper Drive after work is complete along Lanewood Street. This is expected to begin in early April and take about a month to complete.

Upper Drive - water line relocation

From late next week through late March, an existing 8 inch water line will be relocated and a temporary bypass installed along Upper Drive, between Twin Fir Road and Fir Grove Court. This is to make room for the large pipeline to be installed later in April. During that time, the road will remain open but flaggers will guide traffic through the area. Work hours will be 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Iron Mountain Boulevard - sewer line relocation almost complete

The sanitary sewer pipe relocation on Iron Mountain Boulevard between Pine Valley Road and Berwick Road is almost complete! Next week, crews will remove the temporary trench patch and repave. A single-lane closure is in place during work hours (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.) on Iron Mountain Blvd. between Pine Valley Road and Berwick Road to accommodate equipment. Please watch for flaggers.

Chandler Road – sewer line relocation starting next week

Work to relocate the sanitary sewer line along Chandler Road between Iron Mountain Boulevard and 10th Street will start next week and continue through March 14. Work hours will be 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. During that time, the road will remain open but flaggers will guide traffic through the area. Steel plates will be placed on the roadway at the end of each day to cover up the trench opening. The trench will be repaved after the pipe is relocated.

Lake Oswego Hunt Club

Work is continuing on the Lake Oswego Hunt Club property on Iron Mountain Boulevard to install a new water pipeline and should be complete in mid March. Most of the work is taking place on the Hunt Club property, but at times there are crews working along the roadway. Appropriate traffic control measures will be in place. Please watch for flaggers.

We apologize for the inconvenience this work may cause and thank you for your patience as construction progresses.
