Road work on Carman Drive next week

Starting Monday and Tuesday (6/9 and 6/10) crews will be installing a storm drain manhole on Carman Drive in front of the reservoir site (4800 Carman Drive). During this work, two lanes of traffic will be open, with traffic cones outlining the lanes.

Starting on Wednesday, 6/11, only the westbound lane on Carman will allow through traffic. Eastbound traffic on Carman will be detoured down Bonita Road. Only local traffic will be allowed through the closed work zone (Candlewood Crt. and a few other residences on Carman). Work is expected to continue for one to two weeks, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please follow the designated detour routes and watch for signage.

Reservoir excavation continues on site

Crews continue to chip rock and excavate for the foundation of the reservoir. Starting next week, they will be breaking rocks for onsite crushing or loading into trucks to haul away. As shown in the photo below, there are many large rocks being excavated! Neighbors may notice an increase in noise during this work.
