Bonita Pump Station Construction Update

Preparing the site to grade for the generator pad

Concrete is poured for the meter vault walls

This week, crews poured concrete for the meter vault walls and began excavating for the pump can (enclosure for the pump). Soil was also removed out of the vegetated corridor to prepare for plantings in the next few months. The site for the generator pad was also graded, to prepare for a concrete pour.

Over the next few weeks, irrigation for the vegetated corridor will we installed and a temporary site fence will be placed around the work area. Electrical conduits will be installed for the generator pad, before a large concrete pour occurs late next week. The pump can will be encased in concrete in early August. Neighbors can expect to see four to five concrete trucks and typical site activity with excavators and dump trucks. Watch for flaggers as equipment and trucks enter and exit the site.

Thank you neighbors for your patience as construction progresses.
