Lake Oswego Pipeline Construction Update
- Iron Mountain Boulevard, Twin Fir Road and Upper Drive pavement striping delayed

Iron Mountain Boulevard, Twin Fir Road and Upper Drive - pavement striping delayed
Striping on Iron Mountain, Twin Fir and Upper Drive will be done when the weather improves. Miscellaneous repairs continue over the next few weeks as work in these areas wraps up. Please watch for flaggers as work occurs.
State Street/B Avenue intersection - sidewalk construction and improvements continue
Crews are progressing to install new sidewalks and ramps during the day, at the intersection of State Street and B Avenue (pictured above). This will continue over the next two weeks. During the concrete pours, temporary road closures and detours may be in place in the first block of B Ave. Two-way traffic will remain open on State Street, but please watch for flaggers.
Laurel Street - major pipeline work complete!
Final paving of the roadway will occur when the weather permits, in spring or summer 2015. Some small miscellaneous work remains (vaults, drains). During this work, there may be single lane closures in place, but the road will remain open to through traffic.
Highway 43 nighttime construction - continues near Cherry Lane
Pipeline installation work on Highway 43 in Lake Oswego is progressing south towards West Linn (pictured above). Crews are currently installing pipe near the intersection of Cherry Lane. Crews will need to conduct final paving of the roadway where the pipe was installed once pipe work is complete and the weather permits.
Most major work is occurring at night from Sunday - Thursday between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Per ODOT approval and to minimize nighttime noise, some asphalt saw-cutting on Highway 43 in Lake Oswego is occurring a couple times a week during the day, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. In most areas, two-way traffic is maintained, except in some narrow areas where one lane is open at a time.
Tonight, a second crew will begin preliminary pipeline activities (saw-cutting, equipment mobilzation) on Highway 43 in West Linn, at Mapleton Drive. Starting Sunday, December 14, the crew will begin laying pipe at the intersection of Mapleton Drive, and work north towards Lake Oswego. Work hours are Sunday - Thursday between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Chandler Road/A Avenue - pipeline installation expected to begin in mid-late January
Pipeline installation at Chandler Road and 10th Street, is expected to begin in mid-late January. Crews will lay pipe from Chandler/10th Street, along A Avenue between 10th and 9th Streets, 9th Street between A and B Avenues, and then down B Avenue, between 9th and State Streets. Work hours on A Avenue between 10th and 9th Streets will be at night, 8 p.m. – 5 a.m. to minimize traffic impacts.
