West Linn Pipeline Construction Update
Highway 43 pipeline construction
Pipeline construction on Highway 43 in West Linn is progressing north. While it has been a slow start with deep excavations and some unmarked utilities, crews are now installing pipe between Hidden Springs Road and Cedar Oak Drive. Nighttime work hours are Sunday through Thursday, 8 p.m. - 5 a.m. During construction, in most areas, one lane of traffic will be open in each direction. In some narrow areas, one lane will be open at a time, with flaggers guiding traffic in each direction.
A second crew continues to install pipe on Highway 43 in Lake Oswego at night, between Glenmorrie Drive and Holy Names Drive, working south towards West Linn. Per ODOT approval and to minimize nighttime noise, some asphalt saw-cutting in Lake Oswego is occurring sporadically throughout the week from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
