Foothills Road - nighttime pipeline construction underway

Pipeline construction is currently underway off State Street near Foothills Road. Crews are working near the Oswego Pointe Apartments and will soon progress behind the Lakewood Bay business complex (Blue Star Lounge, Banfield Pet Hospital, etc.). Please note: businesses will remain open during construction.

From there, the pipeline will be installed through the Oswego Village Shopping Center, the Old Town neighborhood, George Rogers Park and McVey Avenue. Pipe work is expected to be complete in Oswego Village Shopping Center by the end of October.

To minimize traffic and business impacts, most work will occur from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday through Friday. In most areas, one lane of traffic will be open, with flaggers guiding traffic. All lanes will be open to traffic during the day. Steel plates will be present in the parking lots and roadway. Please drive with caution through the active work zones and obey flagger’s directions.

Railroad Crossing - 48-hour weekend construction a success

On Sunday, Aug. 16, crews completed the crucial task of installing the pipeline under the railroad tracks on State Street in Lake Oswego. The crossing was completed 12 hours early without major disruptions to traffic.

Thank you to motorists and businesses for your patience during this important work!
