Honoring our History: A Public Art Dedication Ceremony
Experience the dedication of the Lake Oswego Tigard Water Partnership’s cultural resources interpretive exhibit featuring educational signage and a sculpture created by the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde.
As the Partnership’s pipeline passes through a site in Lake Oswego’s Old Town neighborhood of cultural and historical significance, mitigation was required to compensate for any construction impacts. The creation of the exhibit was guided by a unique collaboration of several community advisory boards. The sculpture and exhibit provide historical context and honor the native peoples that lived in the area.
