State Street Crossing – between Green Street and McVey Avenue

Crews are currently installing pipe across State Street, between Green Street and McVey Avenue, at night. Work hours are 8 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. During this time, the traffic signal at State Street and McVey Avenue is turned off, lane closures are in place, and flaggers are directing traffic through the intersection. This portion of construction is expected to be complete by next week. To maintain safety, please drive slowly through the work area and obey flagger directions.

In observance of Thanksgiving, crews will only work Monday and Tuesday night next week.

McVey Avenue Pipeline – construction begins soon

Upon completion on the State Street crossing, crews will continue night work, installing pipe up McVey Avenue towards Erickson Street. Work hours on McVey Avenue are 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. During night construction, crews will strive to keep noise to a minimum, however, neighbors should expect to see and hear heavy equipment and vehicles, dump trucks, and materials, such as pipe, steel plates and gravel. During work hours, lane closures will be in place and flaggers will be present to guide traffic. Please expect some delays during this time.

McVey Avenue pipe bridge – work underway

Crews continue to form and pour footings for the McVey Avenue pipe bridge. This work will be done during the day between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. In observance of Thanksgiving, crews will only work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week.
