Temporary pavement and cleanup work

Next week, crews plan on placing a temporary pavement patch over the work pits at Trillium Creek and the portion of the pipe that was installed last week near the 4000 block of Mapleton. During this time, the road will be closed to through traffic and neighbors located east of the work area will need to use the detour route.

Crews will also do some miscellaneous cleanup work, which includes moving the majority of the equipment out of the right-of-way on Mapleton Drive, to prepare for their holiday break. Please note, some equipment and materials may remain in the public right-of-way on Mapleton Drive, and some steel plates will be present on the roadway.

Finished water pipe installation resumes Jan. 4

Crews are taking a break over the Christmas holidays and plan on resuming installing finished water pipe near 4025 Mapleton Drive the week of Jan. 4. Crews plan on working west toward Highway 43.

Road closure and detour route during pipeline construction

During work hours, a detour is in place and no through traffic is allowed in the active work zone on Mapleton Drive. Please follow the detour signage directing traffic around the closure area.

The road will continue to be closed to through traffic at the active work zone as it moves along Mapleton Drive. Residents located east of the active work zone will need to use the detour route on Nixon Avenue, Elmran Drive and Cedaroak Drive during work hours (refer to detour map link above). Residents located west of the active work zone can use Mapleton Drive between their home and Highway 43 during work hours.
