Final restoration wrapping up on Mapleton Drive
With the pipeline now installed and in service, the last few weeks, crews focused on restoring the right-of-way, finishing vault work, removing equipment and conducting a sewer scope inspection. The majority of the restoration work is now complete!
The recent sewer inspection resulted in a number of laterals needing to be repaired, which crews have been working on this week (pictured right).
During this time, a pump will be running during the day to bypass the sewer. No services are expected to be interrupted. This work is expected to take three days to complete.
Once the mainline repair is complete, work will resume on the remaining restoration items, including removing erosion control measures and miscellaneous cleanup at the creek. By late April, the pipeline contractor’s restoration and repair work is expected to be finished on Mapleton Drive.
During the next few weeks, single lane closures will be present in areas where crews are working. Please watch for flaggers.
Work hours on Mapleton Drive are 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
Final paving of the roadway on Mapleton Drive will be conducted by the City of West Linn and its contractors, expected sometime this spring/summer. For more information about the paving schedule, please contact the City of West Linn Public Works Department on 503-722-5500.
